Beautiful stone bridge over the River Tinto that has a picnic area nearby.

Known as the Roman Bridge of Paradela, in Francos, over the River Tinto in the parish of San Xoán de Calo, it is located on the border of the Municipality. Built in the Middle Ages, this bridge is known for being located on the road that led from Iria Flavia to Santiago. Five metres long and 1.70 wide, it is one of the most emblematic river crossings on the Portuguese Camino, and which rightly appears in the heraldic shield of Teo.

Today it is a beautiful place to enjoy nature. Over it crosses a Recreational Trail (Trails suitable for children), which starts from the Stone Cross in Francos and takes the forest dirt tracks to access this natural spot. It can also be accessed by asphalted road. It is signposted, and also starting from there is a trail to the Lupario hill fort, located in the neighbouring municipality, but historically linked to our territory, not only as an archaeological site of prolonged occupation, but also owing to its close links with the Xacobean legends that speak of the genesis of the old Compostela.

The villagers talk of the belief that the bridge had a key in the middle: the key to the bridge, a square stone that stood out from the rest and thanks to which the bridge has withstood the passage of time, come thunder or feasts on it.
