Ensemble of traditional architecture greatly used by the residents of the area as a washhouse and also bathing area.

Pedreira Bridge and the washhouse located on the river itself form important example of popular architecture. The bridge, of mediaeval origin, initially had one single slightly pointed semicircular arch. The subsequent reforms extended the old stone bridge located on the River Tinto.

On the river bed itself are stone slabs placed almost vertically that served the women of the area to wash their clothes on the course of the river itself. Each of the 5 or 6 stones were privately owned, but were often allowed to be used by other women. After washing, they took advantage of the nearby fields to rinse the clothes.
